You might not have noticed, but we just added a little something to the website, hoping to liven up ye’ olde #jme channel again. You’ll find it in the top menu as well as down in the corner here.
Either log in using the web based IRC chat, no download necessary, or click the link below that for a direct address to your own integrated client. We don’t expect the channel to blossom into 24/7 discussion just over night; our simple hope is that people can find one another a little more easily now, whatever the reason might be. To know when to try and reach your fellow code-monkey, I suggest you check our their profile to see whether they’re logged on or not.
please note that Skye is really a vigilant advocate of our cause and is only offline for the purpose of this example! *giggle*
So if you notice that someone you’d like to talk to is in fact online, just shoot them a PM and hope they’ll catch it while they’re online. We’ll be working on improving live notifications and chat integrations. Any suggestions or cool finds will be appreciated.
