The jMonkeyEngine SDK (software development kit) is based on the NetBeans Platform.
When you toggle the wire-frame button in the viewer it does nothing …. I’d like to use it for debugging…
I know it’s only trivial but I’m curious …
Thats not true, do you get a warning sign in the lower right when you click it?
Not sure what you mean by lower right .. if you mean the viewer, no, no warnings .. if you mean bottom right of the ..(gui?) nope .. no warnings anywhere …. it appears to do nothing …
Open a model and press the button, it will be displayed as wireframe, never heard of any issues with that.
..maybe i misunderstood? I thought if I toggled the wireframe then the models shown in your program would show as wireframes; ie I thought that button affects the output window; does it only instead affect the opengl window?
ah i see i did misunderstand … thanks …
What other “output window” is there?
Well, there’s the window that’s labeled “opengl window” then another window that pops up when you run your program – i called that the output window, not sure what the proper name is? Maybe “jmonkeyengine3.0″ window. I was expecting the toggle to affect that window….
Thats your application It only does what you program into the code.
